Chief's Message

I am honored to serve as the Director of Public Safety for the Bloomfield Hills Public Safety Department and its staff. I am proud to have served the Law Enforcement profession for over thirty years and am excited to bring my experience and leadership to this great City and agency. 

After I was selected as Director in December 2024, the staff and I immediately focused on our department's exceptional public safety services and emergency preparedness, focusing on enhanced training, staff development, and technology. Our highest priority is continuing to provide outstanding public safety services to our citizens and add “continually” strengthening the relationship we share with our community through transparency, engagement, and collaboration. This focus will allow the Bloomfield Hills Public Safety Department and its members to always respond professionally and safely to all community needs or emergencies. 

The men and women of the Bloomfield Hills Public Safety Department are committed to serving this community by maintaining the highest quality of life for our citizens through crime suppression and prevention, fire safety measures, and emergency medical services. My goal is to uphold this agency's traditions and lead its staff with integrity, dedication, and professionalism as we provide the citizens of this City with exceptional public safety services, without prejudice or partiality.
